However, later the name changed to Pari Mahal due to legends that the place is haunted with princesses held captive there will, roaming the corridors of the Mahal after dark. And so, it is not the magical appeal of the place but the spookiness of the place that got it the name Pari Mahal.

- Carry an umbrella or wear a hat and sunglasses. Apply sunscreen. There will be a lot of sun exposure.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes as there will be a lot of walking involved.
- You can carry water, but food is not allowed inside the garden.
- The garden has clean pay and use toilets.
- The stairs at Pari Mahal between the different terraces are not in perfect state. Take care while using them.
