My Review
When we first planned our visit to Munnar Rose Garden, we were admittedly a bit skeptical, especially after our not-so-great experience at Blossom Hydel Park, where the higher entry and parking fees didn’t seem to justify the experience. However, our visit to Rose Garden turned out to be a delightful surprise that was both enjoyable and economical.
Located on the slope of a hill, Rose Garden Munnar may be smaller than the average public garden, but it compensates with its beautifully laid out paths and an impressive variety of flora.
As we walked along the paved, hairpin paths of the garden, it was a joy to discover the many exotic and beautiful flowers like dahlias and anthuriums, nestled among the vibrant roses.

Regarding value for money, Rose Garden hits the mark. With an entry fee of only Rs. 50 and no parking charges, it felt like a breath of fresh air compared to our earlier outing. Plus, its location on the Munnar-Top Station Highway makes it a convenient stop on the way to Munnar Echo Point, allowing you to combine visits and make the most of your day.
We visited Munnar Rose Garden around 4:00 pm, which turned out to be perfect as the place was not too crowded. This gave us ample time to meander through the garden at our leisure, soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and snap plenty of beautiful photos without feeling rushed. The parking situation was manageable too; being by the road, it could get tricky during rush hours, but we found a spot relatively close by.

Key Features
When you first step into Rose Park Munnar, you’ll be greeted by a stunning spectrum of colors. As a rose aficionado, I’ve always been captivated by the diversity of this flower, and this park does not disappoint.
Rows upon rows of roses, from classic reds to exotic pinks and sunny yellows, create a vibrant tapestry that changes with the seasons. You and I can wander through these blooming corridors, taking in the delicate fragrances that each variety offers. It’s like walking through a living rainbow, each turn introducing us to new shades and scents.
While the roses steal the show, Rose Park’s charm doesn’t end there. We can explore together the wide array of other flowering plants that call this park home. Orchids, lilies, and dahlias are interspersed among the roses, adding to the park’s biodiversity and visual appeal.

These flowers are not just randomly placed; they are thoughtfully integrated into the landscape, creating a holistic environment that supports various bird species and butterflies. This diversity makes our visit not just a visual delight but also an ecological exploration.
For you, the photography enthusiast, every corner of this park offers a new subject, from the panoramic floral vistas to the intricate details of a single bloom. The natural lighting, especially during the golden hours of early morning or late afternoon, makes it ideal for capturing stunning photographs.
